Airframe & Powerplant Prep – Wichita, Kansas

Duration:  6 weeks

Description:

  • Accelerated lecture & hands-on training towards the FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certification
  • Written Tests included (General, Airframe, and Powerplant)
  • Oral & Practical Tests with DME included (General, Airframe, and Powerplant)
  • Restrictions/Prerequisites:
    • You must meet the prior military experience requirement under a qualified AFSC/MOC/MOS to obtain the FAA 8610-2 or JSAMTCC prior to the class start date. 
    • You must be able to obtain installation access to McConnell AFB for written tests during the course

Duration:  7 weeks

Description:

CNC Machining – San Diego, California 

Duration:  16 weeks

Comprehensive test preparation for the following Certifications:​

Immerse to Learn: A dynamic orientation that introduces students to the world of advanced manufacturing, including shop safety, professional expectations, and an overview of machining processes and career pathways.​

SolidWorks (CAD): Students learn to create detailed 2D and 3D part models, assemblies, and technical drawings using industry-standard SolidWorks software. Emphasis is placed on parametric design, geometric relationships, and design intent.​

MasterCAM (CAM): This course introduces students to the fundamentals of toolpath generation using MasterCAM. Students learn how to translate CAD models into efficient CNC programs for milling and turning operations.​

CNC Milling: Students gain hands-on experience with CNC milling machines, focusing on machine setup, tool selection, workholding, and basic programming. Instruction includes G-code, feeds and speeds, and producing accurate milled components.​

CNC Lathe: Students learn to operate CNC turning centers, including part setup, tool offsets, and programming for cylindrical parts. The course emphasizes precision, surface finishes, and safe machining practices.​

This course is designed to develop a solid foundation in CAD/CAM software, CNC machine operation, and the fundamental principles of manufacturing. This program prepares students to confidently advance to intermediate and advanced CNC training.​
