Job Postings for Manufacturing Careers Requiring Associate Degree’s

Associates degree manufacturing programs are great pipelines for sourcing talent for your facilities. From January 2023 through February 2024, the top ten job postings in the manufacturing industry that require an Associates degree are: Maintenance Technicians, Field Service Technicians, Production Supervisors, Field Service Engineers, Engineering Technicians, Laboratory Technicians, Maintenance Supervisors, Building Automation Specialists, Manufacturing Technicians, and Quality Technicians.

The median advertised salary for manufacturing careers that require an Associates degree is $62,600, giving these individuals a chance at upward mobility without putting themselves in considerable student loan debt. Since January 2023, the wage progression for these jobs have risen 7.7%.

Currently there are over 228,000 open manufacturing jobs with Associates degree requirements with more than 14,000 employers competing for this talent. On average, these jobs are posted for 30 days before being filled, exemplifying broader workforce challenges the industry faces around perception – despite the relatively high salaries.
