Abigail Fowler

Abigail (Abby) Fowler is the content manager at the Manufacturing Institute (MI), the nonprofit affiliate of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). In her role, she develops engaging digital content that brings the MI’s mission and impact to life.

Before joining the MI, Abby was a public affairs specialist at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Iowa, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies and Japanese language and literature. Abby is also an alumna of the Department of State’s Critical Language Scholarship program, which took her to Okayama, Japan for eight weeks of intensive language study in 2023.

Abby grew up between Waukesha, Wisconsin and Iowa City, Iowa, before moving to her current residence of Arlington, Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, scrapbooking, and visiting museums.
