Karen Buck leads critical programs at MRC such as the Manufacturing Leadership Institute (MLI) and various regional STEM initiatives. With a strong background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in both the manufacturing industry and non-profit sector, Karen has dedicated her career to advancing STEM education and manufacturing awareness across Pennsylvania. 

 

Karen is passionate about bridging the gap between education and industry. She spearheads the highly acclaimed What’s So Cool About Manufacturing® Student Video Contest and the Pennsylvania Dream Team Ambassador program, impacting over 100 school districts and 5,000 students. Known for her problem-solving skills and engaging personality, Karen is a sought-after speaker on STEM education and workforce development. The Lehigh Valley Business news media recognized Karen with a 2024 Women of Influence Award for her career accomplishments, community involvement, and commitment to mentoring.
