Meredith Reffey

Department Lead, Workforce Partnerships, Honda

Meredith Reffey is a Department Manager in Government & Industry Relations for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (AHM) and leads the Workforce Partnerships Department. Reffey started at Honda in March of 2007 and her experience for the first 15 years of her career was with Production Engineering focused on equipment design and production in weld departments at all North American manufacturing facilities. She was the weld equipment project leader for the 2018 Honda Accord and the 2021 Acura TLX.  She then became the technical advisor for all project leaders in the Production Engineering Business Unit prior to accepting the role of Assistant Manager of the Honda-Ohio State partnership, and then onto her most recent position.  

Reffey obtained her BS in Industrial Engineering Technology with a minor in Quality Assurance from the University of Dayton. In addition to sitting on the Ohio Governor’s Executive Workforce Board, she is also on the Ohio State Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology Industry Advisory Board and participates as a member of the Central Ohio Manufacturing Partnership industry sector partnership. Reffey is passionate about supporting the pipeline of talent needed to grow manufacturing opportunities at Honda and in Ohio.
