Tricia Munoz-Ludwig

Tricia Munoz-Ludwig is Director of Work-Based Learning Programs & Partnerships at GPS Education Partners (GPS Ed), where she has spent over a decade helping schools, employers, and communities build work-based learning programs that actually work for students and for the businesses counting on tomorrow’s workforce.

Tricia’s guiding belief is simple: the talent gap isn’t a talent problem, it’s a partnership problem. Employers and educators are rarely short on willingness, they’re short on infrastructure. Her work is about building that infrastructure: the shared language, the trust, and the systems that turn good intentions into lasting talent pipelines.

Drawing on GPS Ed’s “four A’s” framework (authenticity, aspiration, ability, and agency) Tricia has helped manufacturers and school districts across the country design work-based learning experiences that move students from early career exposure into real, immersive internships.

She’s contributed to GPS Ed’s book, Make School Work: Solving the American Youth Employment Crisis Through Work-Based Learning, sharing on-the-ground insight from implementing high-quality programs at scale, including tackling manufacturing’s image problem head-on and helping students see themselves in careers they didn’t know existed.

With a background in Business and Marketing Education and more than 18 years in education overall, Tricia brings both a practitioner’s toolkit and a partnership-builder’s instinct to every room she’s in. She’s known for turning “who do you know?” into a strategic asset, mapping relationships, resources, and regional talent needs into programs that strengthen communities and give students a real shot at a career they’re excited about.
