Trina Goss

Associate Director, FAME USA

Trina Goss is an Associate Director, FAME USA at the Manufacturing Institute, the non-profit affiliate of the National Association of Manufacturers. In her current role, Trina supports the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) chapters nationwide by offering leadership and guidance to existing and developing chapters, developing program materials and resources, and sharing best practices for program integrity and reliability.

Prior to joining the Manufacturing Institute, Trina served as Vice President of Business & Talent Initiatives at Greater Topeka Partnership, where she led regional workforce and talent initiatives focused on employer engagement, workforce development, talent attraction and retention, childcare capacity, and economic mobility. She was the architect behind the launch of TopCity FAME, the region’s FAME USA chapter, establishing an employer-led model for developing the next generation of manufacturing talent.

Trina currently resides in Baldwin City, Kansas with her life partner Chris and his son Cooper. Trina’s adult daughter, Emma, lives nearby. Trina is a fellow of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Business Leads Fellowship, where she focused on workforce and education, and an Economic Mobility Fellow with the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). She is also a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute (OUEDI), one of the nation’s leading professional development programs for economic development practitioners.
