Transitioning Military-Affiliated Talent into Manufacturing

Overview

With their unique set of skills and experiences directly applicable to manufacturing, military-affiliated talent are well-positioned for success and are an attractive target for recruiters. To provide guidance for manufacturers who wish to incorporate military-affiliated talent into their recruitment efforts, the MI (with support from Colonial Life) conducted a research study from September to November 2023 to examine the experiences and key insights of manufacturers that have successfully transitioned military-affiliated talent into the sector. This study also assesses the value of the Heroes MAKE America initiative for manufacturers and HMA alumni.
