registerThe Manufacturing Institute’s STEP Forward program, an integral part of the Institute’s STEP Women’s Initiative, provides women in manufacturing with an opportunity to hear from industry leaders, connect with their peers and learn best practices they can bring back to their companies.
Study after study has found that women interested in manufacturing, technology and production are looking for female mentors and role models who can help them navigate their careers. However, finding a network of support is challenging when women make up only 30% of the manufacturing workforce.
On Tuesday, September 14 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. EDT, the Manufacturing Institute will host STEP Forward: Strengthening the #MFGWomen Community, in partnership with Honeywell, where we will discuss how to make “the lonely only” a feeling of the past.
