Women Veterans Connect: Owning Your Skills

Join us on September 14 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET for a virtual event that will explore the opportunities – and challenges – of being a woman in the manufacturing industry. This candid discussion will feature female leaders with backgrounds in the manufacturing industry and the military who will share their experiences entering and advancing their careers, as well as provide tips and tools on how you can best position yourself for professional growth. This event will benefit those already in manufacturing as well as women who may be interested in learning more about a career in the industry.

3:00 – 3:15 p.m. Welcome and Opening Remarks

The Manufacturing Institute will set the stage by sharing the latest stats concerning women in the manufacturing industry and the top challenges women face. Attendees will hear a brief overview of the Women MAKE America and Heroes MAKE America programs, as well as their impact.
