Anjana Radhakrishnan
Anjana Radhakrishnan is the Associate Director, Workforce Insights and Research at the Manufacturing Institute, the workforce development and education partner of the National Association of Manufacturers. Anjana works on a diverse suite of analytical projects, including development of content that captures key insights from the programmatic efforts of the Manufacturing Institute as well as planning and implementation of primary research studies through the Center for Manufacturing Research.
As a social sciences researcher, Anjana has honed her skills in a wide range of fields including economics, public health, marketing, sociology, and medical education. Prior to joining the Manufacturing Institute, Anjana served as a Research Associate for the Association of Pediatric Program Directors where she managed research projects from proposal through dissemination.
Anjana earned her undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics with honors and minors in Data Analysis and French at George Mason University. In 2015, she was a recipient of the U.S. Fulbright-Nehru Student Research grant which enabled her to conduct an independent study on the impact of employment and property status on incidence of domestic violence in her home state of Kerala, India
Although she has moved around a lot, she considers Ashburn, VA to be something akin to a hometown. Anjana currently lives in Washington, DC.
