Brikiti Yohannes
Brikiti Yohannes is the Operations Associate at the Manufacturing Institute, the workforce and education partner of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). In her current role, she is responsible for streamlining operations and event planning. She also provides administrative and systems support through HQ-based events, contract processing, and financial reporting.
Brikiti comes to the MI with years of experience in business operations and event planning. She was previously the Director of Marketing and Outreach for the Activities Programming Board at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she developed marketing strategies with campus partners and co-sponsorships, managed coordinators for graphics and campaigns, and executed a variety of events on campus and in the Richmond area. Brikiti also recruited for membership and the APB’s Event Squad volunteering organization for orchestrating large-scale events. She also served as a Junior Analyst at ProSource360 Consulting Services, Inc. in Washington D.C.
Brikiti holds a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management and analytics with a minor in fundamentals of computing from VCU. Outside of work, she can often be found walking, reading, or spending time with her friends and family.
