Ellen Sauter
Ellen Sauter serves as the Senior Workforce Solutions Specialist at Cara Collective, a workforce development nonprofit social enterprise that has provided more than 15,000 jobs since 1991. In her role, Ellen connects with other workforce development organizations and social enterprises to share Cara Collective’s service delivery model and build a national workforce development best practices network. Additionally, she supports Cara Collective’s two affiliates with technical assistance. Ellen has three years of direct service work as a Job Developer and earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Chicago. Her work on The AdvoKit: A Toolkit to Create Strong Employer Partnerships and Push for Inclusive Change touches both her deep passion for improving workforce development systems and eradicating poverty.
