Tami Hatfield
Tami Hatfield, an accomplished HR executive with over two decades of experience, currently holds the role of Executive Director of HR Supply Chain at GE Appliances in Louisville, Kentucky. Leading a team of sixty HR professionals, she shapes and executes strategic HR initiatives for over 12,000 employees across GE Appliances’ North American manufacturing plants.
Tami oversees talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, employee relations, inclusion and diversity, community relations, retention, training, and leadership development for the supply chain division. She is also a key figure in positive employee relations activities, contract negotiations, and change management practices.
Before GE Appliances, Tami had a distinguished 27‐year career at Ford Motor Company, in which she held a variety of Human Resource and production leadership positions. Her commitment extended outside of manufacturing to serving as the Workforce Development Manager, contributing to educational initiatives (Ford Next Generation Learning), and engaging with media outlets.
Throughout her career, Tami’s resolute commitment to workforce development, employee engagement, and community outreach, coupled with her strategic leadership style, has made a lasting impact on the organizations she serves. Tami Hatfield remains a seasoned HR professional, contributing significantly to the success and growth of the companies she passionately serves.
Beyond her professional commitments, Tami serves on the Boards of Down Syndrome of Louisville and Ivy Tech Community College. She is also the mother of three children. She enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and watching NFL football in her spare time.
