Webinar: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Benchmarking in Manufacturing

On March 24, the Manufacturing Institute held a webinar on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Benchmarking in Manufacturing, featuring Dr. Chad Moutray, Director, Center for Research, The Manufacturing Institute and Megan Yeh, Senior Associate, Keybridge Research. Previously, the MI gathered data regarding current industry DE&I policies. Manufacturers across the country were surveyed for a second time to build up the baseline for current practices and attitudes around DE&I topics, such as hiring, diversity-related reporting and employee resources.

The discussion focused on where manufacturing stands in terms of DE&I and why it is critical the industry take proactive steps to diversify the talent pipeline and close the opportunity gap.
