Heroes Connect: National Fluid Power Association (NFPA)

Association Overview

Fluid power describes hydraulic and pneumatics technologies, both of which use a fluid (liquid or gas) to transmit power from one location to another. The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) is the only trade association focused exclusively on fluid power technology and has over 340 member companies representing the entire fluid power supply chain.  Central to its mission of strengthening the fluid power industry, NFPA has identified growing the fluid power workforce as one of its primary strategic priorities and therefore seeks to increase the number of educated technicians and engineers embarking on careers in fluid power.

• Prepare to be on camera – We use Zoom so participants and company representatives can engage face-to-face.
• Research the company – Prepare questions in advance.
• Engage – Companies want employees who are as excited to learn about them as they are to hire high-quality talent.
• Share – We invite all interested service members, veterans, and military spouses, as well as those who support them, to participate in Heroes Connect events. #HeroesConnectM2M
