Are you a female veteran or military spouse working in manufacturing or considering a manufacturing career? If so, this session was designed with you in mind.
From the production floor to the C-suite, the manufacturing and transportation industry offers diverse opportunities that leverage your unique skills and leadership capabilities that lead to well-paying, exciting and productive careers.
Join us as we host a discussion created to inspire, empower, and encourage you! Speakers will include our STEP Ahead Award winners, Heroes MAKE America alumni, and manufacturing leaders who are veterans and at the forefront of shaping industry efforts towards advancing women in manufacturing.
Participants will:
- Meet military-connected females who have transitioned successfully from the military into careers in the manufacturing and transportation industry
- Learn about the vast array of career opportunities that align with your military skills, education, and experience
- Hear personal stories and insider tips to landing a career in the industry
- Discuss issues unique to women when transitioning from military to civilian careers
- Gain an informal support and mentoring network of military-connected women in the manufacturing industry to assist with your career development
