Raven Keenan
Raven Alesia Keenan is the Content Manager at the Manufacturing Institute, where she leads the development and execution of social media content strategies that highlight workforce development and innovation in the manufacturing sector.
In addition to her work at the Manufacturing Institute, Raven is Digital Creative volunteer at The MIX Church in Baltimore, overseeing multi-channel communication efforts that align with the church’s spiritual mission, vision and community engagement goals. She supports creative teams, directs content creation, and ensures brand consistency across digital platforms.
Previously, Raven was the Sr. Communication Associate at SecondMuse, where she managed day-to-day marketing and communication strategies for programs such as For ClimateTech, the influence accelerator program Rooted and Rising, SecondMuse Capital, and The Earth Observing Dashboard Hackathon – a global initiative in partnership with Booz Allen Hamilton, NASA Earth, the European Space Agency, and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. In this role, she led content development, storytelling, public relations, and digital campaigns to amplify program reach and engagement.
Raven also served as the Social Media Lead for DC Design Week, developing and executing content strategies that engaged the creative community in the DC area. She played a vital role in expanding the event’s visibility and fostering a space for connection and inspiration through social media engagement and digital storytelling.
Raven Alesia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications from Hampton University and is a proud Fall 2013 initiate of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. She remains actively involved in her sorority’s initiatives and community service efforts.
Based in Pasadena, MD, Raven enjoys spending quality time with her family and her German Shepherd, Apollo. In her free time, she enjoys food exploration, follows the latest music releases, reads non-fiction books, and writes about the culture.
