Isabelle Powell

National Director, Women's Engagement

Isabelle Powell joined the Manufacturing Institute as the national director of women’s engagement in 2023. She most recently served as a director of member & board relations for the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), where she worked with Fortune 1000 member companies and members of the NAM Board of Directors across the Southeast United States to advance key priority issues impacting manufacturers’ ability to compete and succeed on a global scale.

Before joining the NAM, Isabelle served as a business relations consultant for the Better Business Bureau of the Southern Piedmont, providing insight to business owners across a 20-county region in North and South Carolina. Prior to that, she worked in operations and sponsor-relations for the Charlotte Sports Foundation, the local host committee for the collegiate sporting events including the Duke’s Mayo Bowl and Dr Pepper ACC Championship in Charlotte, NC.

Outside of the MI, Isabelle serves as a Guardian ad Litem for the Mecklenburg County court system, and on the University of North Carolina at Charlotte College of Arts and Liberal Sciences Alumni Council.

Isabelle is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications studies and a graduate certificate in non-profit management.
